Authentication & SSO
Set up sign-in for the Facets Control Plane with SAML and OAuth, connecting identity providers like Google, Microsoft Entra, Okta, and more.
Sign-in to the Facets Control Plane can be handed to your own identity provider, so people use the credentials they already have instead of a separate Facets password.
There are two protocols to connect one with.
SAML covers Okta and Google. Register the provider from the SAML Integrations screen in your Control Plane.
OAuth covers Google, Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Okta, OneLogin and JumpCloud, plus any other OpenID Connect provider through generic SSO.
Okta and Google appear under both, so which one to use there depends on what your identity team already runs rather than on anything in Facets.
Both are configured in the console. The metadata, ACS URL and entity ID values differ per Control Plane, so raise a support ticket to get the values for yours.
SAML Integrations
Connect SAML identity providers such as Okta and Google to the Facets Control Plane for enterprise single sign-on and centralized identity.
OAuth Integrations
Connect OAuth identity providers including Google, Azure AD, Okta, OneLogin, JumpCloud, and generic OIDC SSO to the Facets Control Plane login.
Custom Kubernetes Role
Create project-specific Kubernetes roles and cluster roles in Facets via the k8s_access_controls configuration, then release and assign them to users.
