Self-hosted runs the Facets control plane inside your own cloud account instead of on a Facets-managed tenant. Pick it when you need data residency, network isolation, or bring-your-own-cloud (BYOC) cost ownership. If you do not have those requirements, Facets hosted is faster to start with.
Self-hosted install is sales-assisted
Every self-hosted install begins with a demo and a short discussion with the Facets team. After you submit your cloud service-account details, the Facets team launches the control plane in your environment, typically in about 60 minutes. There is no self-serve installer for this path.
