Overview
Praxis is Facets' agentic layer: one general DevOps agent that loads capabilities on demand, plus specialist agents, packaged apps, and CLIs that drive Facets from your terminal, AI tools, and CI.
Praxis is Facets' agentic layer: AI that reads your infrastructure, explains it, and proposes changes through conversation.
Most of the time you talk to one general DevOps agent. Rather than carry every capability at once, it loads them on demand: each capability is a written procedure for a single job, such as importing a cloud resource or auditing an environment's configuration. Capabilities ship built-in, and you can add your own. A few specialist agents sit alongside the general one, and packaged Agentic Apps put some of this work behind their own screens.
Everything runs server-side and stays read-only until you approve a change.
New to Praxis? Start with how it works and stays safe. From there, drive Praxis from your terminal, your AI tools, and CI with the Praxis CLI, browse the Agentic Apps, build your own agent, or run Facets directly from its own CLI.
How Praxis works and stays safe
How the Praxis agent runs your infrastructure work server-side, what it can read freely versus change, and where its security boundaries genuinely sit.
Praxis CLI
Run Praxis from your terminal or CI, and how it differs from raptor, the separate Facets Control Plane CLI.
Agentic Apps
Packaged apps that run on Praxis for incident response, cloud migration, cluster browsing, and alert-rule health, enabled per organization.
Build your own agent
Create a Praxis agent for one job by describing what it should do, then keep it to yourself or share it across your organization.
Commands
Command reference for raptor, the command binary of the Praxis CLI: kubectl-style verbs and resource groups for projects, blueprints, releases, artifacts, and IaC modules.
