What is Facets

Facets is an agentic-led infrastructure delivery platform: an orchestrator that sits alongside your existing cloud and automation and lets people and AI agents provision, ship, and operate everything from one control plane.

Facets is an agentic-led infrastructure delivery platform: one place to build, provision, ship, and operate everything your applications run on, driven by people and AI agents alike.

It is an orchestrator, not another tool to bolt on. Facets sits alongside the cloud accounts, Terraform, Helm, and Kubernetes you already run, and coordinates them from a single control plane rather than replacing them. Your existing automation keeps doing its job; Facets ties it into one declarative model and drives it end to end.

Because everything runs through that one control plane, anything you want to do with your infrastructure happens in the same place: build it, provision environments, ship changes, operate and observe what is running, and govern who can do what. And because Facets is agentic-led, you can do all of it by asking. Praxis, Facets' AI agentic platform, carries out the same work as a person, under the same permissions and audit trail.

What you can do with Facets

  • Provision infrastructure across AWS, GCP, Azure, and Kubernetes from one model.
  • Deploy and release apps through managed, repeatable pipelines.
  • Hand developers self-service environments. No tickets, no waiting.
  • Keep every environment true to its definition. Nothing drifts.
  • Do it in the UI, from the Praxis CLI, or by asking a Praxis AI agent.

One control plane, three ways to drive it

One control plane. One audit trail. Three ways in:

  • A person, in the web UI.
  • The Praxis CLI, from your terminal.
  • Praxis, Facets' AI agentic platform, from a plain-language request.

Same permissions, same record, whoever or whatever is driving.

Guardrails your platform team controls

Facets sits alongside your cloud, your automation, and your agents, and adds two layers:

  • A context layer that knows your whole estate, so one agent knows what a dozen scripts would each have to be told.
  • A safety layer of guardrails, approvals, and access rules, checked on every change before it runs.

Everyone moves fast. Nothing ships outside the lines.

Who it's for

  • Platform teams define the building blocks and guardrails once: the Terraform, Helm, and policies. Written once, reused everywhere.
  • Developers ask for what they need and get it, then deploy and operate without waiting on a ticket.
How Facets fits together: the platform team publishes typed contracts and reusable modules, a developer describes intent to Praxis and gets a blueprint, and the Facets orchestrator rolls that same blueprint across every environment.

Next steps

  • Core concepts: the entities you name and configure (Intents, Flavors, Modules, Blueprints).
  • How Facets works: the path from a request to a deployed environment.
