Accounts

Facets connects to two kinds of account: git accounts for the repositories behind your projects, and cloud accounts for the infrastructure your environments run on. Connect an account once, and every project that needs it can reuse it.

Git accounts

A git account links a provider, GitHub, GitLab, or Bitbucket, so Facets can create and manage the repository behind each project. You need one connected before you can create a project. GitHub connections made through the app install flow run on the Facets GitHub App.

Cloud accounts

A cloud account links a provider, AWS, Azure, GCP, or a standalone Kubernetes cluster, so Facets can provision and launch environments on it. You need one connected before you can launch an environment: it is where the infrastructure actually runs.
