JumpCloud
Create a custom OIDC application in JumpCloud and add it as an OAuth integration in the Facets Control Plane to enable single sign-on.
Prerequisite
- Users must have Write on the OAuth Integration category (permission token
OAUTH_INTEGRATION_WRITE); see Permissions Reference.
How to Add Integration for JumpCloud in Facets?
- Log in to your Control Plane and navigate to Settings > OAuth Integrations from the left pane.
This page displays all the configured OAuth Integrations in Facets. - Click Add Integrations.
- Select JumpCloud as the provider.
- Enter the Registration ID.
Note: Based on your input, Facets generates a Redirect URL. Copy it, then go and create the application in JumpCloud, which is where that URL is needed. - Fill in the following details:

Client ID and Client Secret
📘Both come from the JumpCloud application you created. Log in to the JumpCloud console and open the application. The Client ID is on the SSO tab. For the secret, click Client Secret Valid in the left pane and select Regenerate Secret.

Login Button Text: Choose the text that will appear in the Control Plane Login screen. Facets recommends using your organization's name.

- Click Create.
You have successfully set up JumpCloud integration in Facets.
How to Create an Application in JumpCloud?
To integrate JumpCloud with Facets, it is crucial to first create a custom OIDC application within JumpCloud, from which you can generate the Client ID and Client Secret. Please follow the steps outlined below:
- Log in to the JumpCloud Admin Portal and navigate to User Authentication > SSO Applications.
- Click + Add New Application
- Select Custom Application and click Next.
- Now, select Manage Single Sign-On (SSO), choose Configure SSO with OIDC then click Next.
- Mention the Display Label (mandatory), Description, User Portal Image and click Next.
- Review the details and click Configure Application.
- In the SSO tab, mention the Redirect URL.
Note: Paste the Redirect URL that Facets generated in step 4 of adding the integration. - Mention the Login URL.
Note: The Login URL is your organization's Control Plane URL. - Under Attribute Mapping, select Email and Profile as Standard Scopes.
- Next, go to the User Groups tab and select the necessary user groups that require access to the application.
- Click Activate.
You have successfully created Facets as an application in JumpCloud.
Now go back and finish step 5 of adding the integration in Facets, where the Client ID and Client Secret go.
