SaaS vs Enterprise Plan: which to pick

Two ways to get a running control plane, suited to different compliance, data-residency, and team-size requirements.

SaaS (hosted by Facets)

The fastest way to get started. Facets provisions and manages a dedicated tenant for you: there is nothing to install and no cloud account to connect before you can begin.

How to get access:

1. Go to facets.cloud/signup.
2. Fill in the form with your work email and a brief description of your use case. No credit card is required.
3. A verification email arrives from no-reply@notifications.facets.cloud. Click the link to confirm your address.
4. Sign in at app.facets.cloud. Your tenant is ready immediately.

What you get:

• Full Facets UI, CLI, and API access
• Praxis AI agents pre-enabled
• A starter quota suitable for evaluation and growing-team workloads

When you outgrow the SaaS tier or have data-residency, network-isolation, or bring-your-own-cloud (BYOC) pricing requirements, migrate to the Enterprise Plan.

Enterprise Plan (self-hosted / PaaS)

On the Enterprise Plan, the Facets control plane is deployed directly into your own cloud account, AWS, GCP, or Azure. You own the infrastructure; Facets helps you install and maintain it.

Key characteristics:

• Runs in your VPC / VNet, no Facets-managed infrastructure touches your account after install
• Region of your choice; you communicate your preference to the Facets team before deployment
• The Facets team handles the initial provisioning (typically under 60 minutes) and ongoing upgrades
• Resource sizing changes can be requested at any time via support@facets.cloud
• Supports AWS, GCP, and Azure. See the per-cloud installation guides linked below

Getting started:

1. Request a demo: the Facets team will scope requirements with you.
2. You will receive a personalised link to launch a CloudFormation template (AWS) or equivalent automation on GCP/Azure. This creates a scoped IAM role (or service account) in your cloud account. Facets never requires root or IAM user credentials.
3. The Facets team deploys the control plane into your account. You receive a welcome email with your tenant URL and a password-reset link.
