Extended capabilities
Extend Facets with your own agent skills, MCP servers, duties, modules, and UI, and build them with AI so the platform delivers what your infrastructure needs.
Facets is built to be extended, and you extend it by asking. When the platform does not do something your way yet, you describe what you need and Praxis (Facets' AI agentic platform) builds the extension for you, so Facets adapts to your infrastructure instead of the other way around.
Everything that makes Facets do more, you can create with AI:
- Agent skills teach Praxis a new procedure, so a runbook you write once is available to every agent. See Skills.
- MCP servers and custom tools connect an external system, or a piece of your own logic, so agents can drive the tools you already run. See Connect a tool.
- Duties give an agent standing work it runs on its own, on a schedule, watching a Slack channel, or fired by a webhook. See Duties.
- Modules are your own reusable IaC building blocks, published to a shared registry so every team pulls the same version. See Modules.
- Custom UI adds your own web components inside the control plane for the views your team needs. See Web components.
You do not have to build any of these by hand. Describe the skill, tool, duty, or module you want, and Praxis scaffolds it, validates it, and publishes it for you, under the same permissions and audit trail as a person. The platform is the catalyst: you say what your infrastructure needs, and it builds it for you. See Do it all with AI.

Keep every project and environment secure with role-based access, single sign-on, secret management, guardrail policies, and audit logs, while developers self-serve within limits.
How Facets works
How a requirement becomes a deployment in Facets, and how the Kubernetes-based control plane orchestrates it, whether driven by a person, the Praxis CLI, or a Praxis agent.
